Homemade lip exfoliator

Lips exfoliation process is essential to get rid of chapped and discolored lips. There are many factors such as cold weather, dehydration, smoking, sun exposure etc. which are responsible for making our lips dry chapped. In order to get perfect lips, try to make a lip care routine by following some homemade lip exfoliator recipes given below.


Homemade lip exfoliator


Sugar


- Sugar is very beneficial in removing dead skin cells.

- Make a mixture by mixing equal amounts of olive oil and.

- Apply the mixture on your lips.

- Leave it on for a minute.

- Remove the mixture with a damp cloth.

- For beautiful and soft lips, try to use this recipe for few days.



Toothbrush


- Apply a good quality moisturizer on your lips.

- Now, take a toothbrush and start brushing your lips in a circular motion, but very gently!



Honey


- Honey is loaded with hydrating properties.

- Make a paste by mixing 1 teaspoon of honey + 2 tablespoon of sugar.

- Apply the paste on clean lips, and leave it to dry.

- Remove the paste with a wet cloth.



Baking Soda


- Make a pate by adding water in baking soda.

- Apply the paste on the lips in a circular motion.

- Leave it on for a minute and then wipe it off.

- Apply a good quality lip balm.



Lemon Juice


- Make a mixture by mixing 1 tablespoon of lemon juice + one tablespoon of castor oil + 1 tablespoon glycerin.

- Apply this mixture on your lips before going to bed at night.

- In the morning, remove this mixture with a wet cloth.


Things to remember:

- Try to quit your smoking habit.

- Drink plenty of water.

- Eat lot of fresh fruits and vegetables.

- Exercise regularly.

- Avoid too much sun exposure.

  3. Agreed ^ the olive oil and sugar mixture really works! I would assume you could use vegetable oil instead of olive but I'm not entirely sure.

  4. Instead of 2 tablespoons of sugar and 1 teaspoon of honey, I just did 1 tablespoon of sugar and 1 tablespoon of honey. I thought it worked better.

    1. I love the honey and sugar one it definitely works. I usually just apply vasaline after. Also I add some vasaline to the mixture that works the best.
