Homemade treatment for open pores

There are many cause of open pores problem such as use of an inappropriate skin care product/products or because of over activity sebum producing glands. Open pores are well known for causing other skin related problems like acne and whiteheads. Therefore, in order to prevent these all problems – make a well balanced skin care regimen by using some homemade treatment for shrinking open pores.



Homemade treatment for open pores


Ice

  • Ice is effective in the treatment of open pores because it acts as a natural astringent that helps tighten the pores,
  • Simply, wrap an ice cube into a cotton cloth and rub it on to the affected areas.


Honey mask – special for oily complexion



Things you’ll need

Honey - 2 to 3 teaspoons

Lemon juice – 2 teaspoons

Sugar – a bit


  •  Mix all the ingredients together in a bowl.
  • Apply the mask to your skin.
  • Gently massage for a few minutes.
  • Leave on for 4-5 minutes.
  • Rinse with tepid water.

Tomato Juice



  • Tomato juice is another good treatment for open problem.
  • Apply it on the affected areas with the help of a cotton ball.
  •  Leave it on your skin at least 18-20 minutes before rinsing it with lukewarm water.
  • Use this remedy at least 3 times per week.
  • Better use it before going to bed at night.


Cucumber Juice


  • Cucumber / cucumber juice is very beneficial in the treatment of various skin related problems including open pores.
  • Drink cucumber juice and also use it on your skin.
  • Drinking cucumber juice is beneficial for internal cleansing and when applied externally it will shrink the pores.

Sugar


  • Take 3 to 4 tablespoons of sugar.
  • Add enough water to form a soothing.
  • Apply this paste on your affected area. 
  •  Carefully massage it into the skin. 
  •  Leave it on for at least 15-20 minutes.
  • Wash it off with lukewarm water.
  • Use this remedy for at least for 2 weeks and notice the visible results.
